This policy explains what Upper Group collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to Upper Group and this website only.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the quote request form, we collect the fields you fill in: your name, company name, phone number, email address, primary service area, crew size, monthly marketing budget, the service lines you're interested in, and whatever you tell us about your current lead flow.

We ask for this because we need it to assess whether we can help your business and to prepare a response. You choose what to write; please don't include sensitive personal information in the free-text field.

Information collected automatically

We use HubSpot's tracking script, which sets cookies in your browser — including one called hubspotutk — to recognise returning visitors and record which page or campaign brought you here. This tells us which marketing channels are working. It also collects standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without them; we simply lose the attribution.

How we use it

  • To respond to your request and discuss working together.
  • To prepare a proposal based on your business and goals.
  • To understand which marketing channels bring us qualified enquiries.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with other contractors, lead marketplaces or data brokers.

Who processes it

We use two third-party services to run the site. They process your data on our behalf and are bound by their own agreements:

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server request logs.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we may reasonably need them for the relationship — typically up to three years after our last contact — and longer where records are needed for tax or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Your rights in California

Under the CCPA and CPRA, California residents can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
  • Delete it.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Opt out of its sale or sharing — though as noted above, we don't sell or share it in the first place.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, email uppergrp@gmail.com and tell us what you want us to do. We may need to confirm your identity before we act.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and our API credentials are held as server-side environment variables, never exposed to your browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you send us.

Children

This site is for business use. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear.
